The timetable app clearly shows you your remaining subjects of the day. Pre-installed is a demo that will keep you informed about the functions of the timetable app. You can create a personalized timetable app on you own (recommended), or request it through contact (not recommended), which takes much longer.

The computer algebra system app helps you solving equations. An equation is written as entered (For example: X-2 = 8*4-X). The equal sign can be inserted by pressing 2ND TEST [MATH]. CAS shows only the value that is closest to 0. If the entered equation is not solvable CAS crashes.

The Calculator folder provides 3 computers apps that solve everyday tasks easier.

With the contract-calculator the cost of a contract that includes a one-time payment and monthly payments can be calculated. The total cost and average cost per month will be displayed.

The currency converter can convert between currencies. It must be noted that the exchange rates are not current and therefore can only be used as approximations. To delete the number, CLEAR can be pressed.

The marks calculator helps you when calculating with marks by calculating your overall mark on the basis of oral and written mark and your average mark. Press Switch to toggle between calculating an overall mark and calculating the average mark.

The settings app helps you personalize futuristicOS 8 and offers additional features.

At About device you can reed the futuristicOS version installed on your device as well as how long futuristicOS has already been used.

futuristicOS 8 is available in two languages: English and German. If you want to change the language of futuristicOS 8, select the language. Once the language has been changed, you will reach the homescreen.

The lock code protects futuristicOS 8 against unauthorized access. You can change the code, for this you need to enter the old code and as next the new code. Make sure that you note the code you entered as the only option to use futuristicOS 8 when not knowing the code is resetting futuristicOS 8.
Besides, you can also create a short code, which accelerates the unlock by making only one number necessary to be entered to unlock futuristicOS 8. However, if the short code is entered incorrectly, it will be deleted and the normal code will be required to unlock.

The message at startup informs new users about the help page. You can deactivate or reactivate the message.

Clearing history can speed up the execution of futuristicOS 8. If this option is enabled, futuristicOS 8 deletes the history every time futuristicOS 8 starts.

In futuristicOS 8 the name is queried to display the name of the other person in Network and Chatbook.

The evaluation mode is intended for evaluations in which a reset of the RAM memory is required to protect futuristicOS 8 from getting removed. It is important to check that there is enough free ROM available. If this option is enabled, a message that needs to be confirmed by pressing Enter will appear. futuristicOS 8 now archives all programs and data up to prgmA1, which must be archived manually. After the evaluation, the programs A1 and FUTOS have to be unpacked and prgmFUTOS has to be started manually, which will unpack all data and programs from futuristicOS 8 so futuristicOS 8 can be used as usual. When archiving a message displaying "Garbage collecting" can appear, which must be confirmed with "YES".

This function will reset futuristicOS 8. After restarting futuristicOS 8 you must set up futuristicOS 8 again.

The Notes app allows you to edit two notes. To edit a note, select it first and then select the appropriate function for editing. You can toggle between letter or number input by pressing MODE, delete the last character using DEL or press CLEAR to delete all the text. You need to press up to save. If you quit the app while you are editing a note, your changes will be lost.

The date and time app offers you a calendar, a timer and a stopwatch. Press left or right to switch between the different parts of the app.

The calendar shows you the date from the days of the current week.

With the timer you can count up to a time or a period of time. If the time should be counted up to a point, you need to create a countdown. If the time for a certain period has to be counted, a timer must be created. When the timer is active, it will show the remaining time and the time when the timer finishes. The timer can be paused, delaying the end of the timer respectively. The timer runs in the background, even if futuristicOS 8 is quitted or locked. In lock screen the remaining duration of the timer is displayed if an active timer exists.

The stopwatch in futuristicOS 8 differs little from other stopwatches. It runs like the timer accurate to the second, and continues running in the background.

The games app includes three classic games named Have a Guess, Snake and Tic Tac Toe. To switch between games press left or right. The games app shows the game with the current high score, which is always updated when the game is re-selected. In all games, a Network connection is available, which allows you to compare your highscores directly in Network.

Have a Guess is a game where you try as often as possible to guess the correct number. At the beginning you have 3 lives, and every time you select a wrong number you lose a life.

In Snake you are a snake that has to eat as many balls as it can, but you have to avoid crashing into yourself or the border. The more balls the snake eats, the longer it becomes.

In Tic Tac Toe the goal is to get three characters in a row, it does not matter whether horizontally, vertically or crosswise. For choosing a field the selection can be used, however, pressing the numbers 1-9 arranged as the field is also possible. A game can be skipped, but the opponent receives then one point.

Network allows comparison of high scores from two users, who possess both Network. The graph-link cable is required for Network.

First, both calculators must be connected by a cable. Now Network is being started on one of the devices. Now wait until the calculator gets the ID A and displays the message "Waiting for B. ..". Now start Network on the other calculator and waits until it gets the ID B. As soon as this happens, press enter on the device with the ID A. Once this is done, enter can be pressed on the device with the ID B.

If both calculators get the ID A, enter must be pressed on one of both devices that often that the offline mode appears. Pressing left or right, a connection is established again. The offline mode displays all the high scores, but without comparing it with the other players.

For each game there is a high score list, which also shows who is better in that game. Moreover there is another high-score list that displays all high scores from the player, which is also displayed in offline mode.

With Chatbook you can send messages between both calculators. It should be noted that devices need to open Chatbook in order to successfully receive and send messages.
